Las Alas de la Tierra

Las Alas de la Tierra brings together photographs made in Bolivia, Peru, and Chile in 2005. The work reflects on the fragility and persistence of human life within the vast Andean landscape. Its title is taken from a line in Pablo Neruda’s poem From the Heights of Macchu Picchu: “Come, minuscule life, among the wings of the earth.”
